The milestone marks an important step forward for the company and further strengthens its position as an established engineering, fabrication, and construction contractor in the Philippines.
The Philippine Contractors Accreditation Board (PCAB), a government regulatory body attached to the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and an implementing board of the Construction Industry Authority of the Philippines (CIAP), is responsible for the licensing and regulation of contractors in the country. The PCAB licensing process involves the submission and evaluation of prescribed qualifications and supporting documents, with the Board exercising regulatory authority over contractor licenses.
For Mechatrends, achieving the AAAA classification is a meaningful recognition of the company's continuing development in terms of financial capacity, technical capability, management resources, personnel, equipment, facilities, and project experience.

The achievement comes as Mechatrends continues to expand its capabilities and strengthen its resources.
The company now carries a PHP 1 billion capitalization and PHP 800 million paid-up capital, complemented by aggregate clean bank credit lines exceeding PHP 2 billion. It is supported by 34 full-time engineers and an experienced multidisciplinary management and operations team.
Its extensive fabrication and operational facilities - including the Amaya and Sahud-Ulan plants - provide a combined site area of approximately 73,286 square meters. The company has also expanded its regional presence with facilities supporting projects and clients in Cebu and Mindanao, strengthening its ability to respond to requirements across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Mechatrends continues to expand its technical capabilities in specialized areas such as LPG facilities, pressure vessels, storage tanks, process and product piping, steel fabrication, ASME tank fabrication, and LPG cylinder requalification, repair, and maintenance.
